As usual, Dr. Fahad Maskoun provided us with his clinical experience regarding our article on central nervous dyspnea, in which we mentioned that shortness of breath during infection with the Corona virus is not only caused by infection of the respiratory tract and lung, but may be caused by the virus following a nervous path and causing a brain injury.

Very accurate talk, and I encounter such cases, despite the CT scan of the chest and the mediastinum without filtration changes only, the patient complains of shortness of breath with smell disturbances, to any of the prescribed treatments other than some supportive medicines and vitamins and sometimes a short-acting sedative.
